Diving Expeditions in Cabo San Lucas

Diving Expeditions

Diving Expeditions

The expeditions are all one-day trips, and usually run in the summer months from June to November when the water is warming up and the visibility is at its best. This time of year, the light breezes off the Sea of Cortez provide a perfect climate to enjoy the region’s amazing marine life. Visit beautiful coves and lovely beaches between dive sites. (4-person minimum)

Cabo Pulmo
This dive is for certified divers only. We offer a fantastic tour which is held aboard the new 38'' dive boat "Manta Expedition", the only boat in the region that allows enough time for 3 dives to depths of 50 to 60 ft, in Cabo Pulmo and Los Frailes. Cabo Pulmo is famous for its living coral reef, the only one in the Pacific side of Central America. It is a perfect site for divers who wish to enjoy a remote area away from Los Cabos, to explore its amazing underwater life. You'll see all types of tropical fish here, large gropers, jacks, sting rays, turtles, and even an occasional whale shark.

Gordo Banks
Because of the depth and currents, this dive is for the experienced diver only. This sea mount which is 4 miles off the coast of San Jose Del Cabo, lies under 90' to 130' of water. Here schools of hammerheads, jacks, and dolphins can be seen just a few feet below the surface. Manta rays, bull sharks and whale sharks are also sometimes encountered here.
